Hello,
is there any way to undervolt the VIA Nano processor of my Samsung NC20 Netbook?

I installed Samsung Tools from the Repository Manager and one Option in this Tool is called undervolting CPU, with a requirement that PHC is installed.

Now searched in the Wiki for CPU compatibly and there are only Intel and AMD Cpus listed.

maybe the samsung tool option is only for intel atom netbooks

anyone could help me? is there a way to undervolt the VIA Nano?

thanks,
ednat

We have no experiences with VIA nano processors. In theory, it may be possible that this CPU is somewhat compatible with our patches. But I can not remember seeing someone before who had tried it.

IF you have some time you could simple try it.

I guess the VIA nano processor uses acpi-cpufreq as its cpufreq driver? Then you need to try the intel patch.
